Last December, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Calicut Beach House 🏠. Nestled just 100 meters away from the pristine shores of Calicut, this beach house was everything we could have asked for in a dream vacation! 🏖️
The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and boasted of excellent quality. The comfortable beds, crisp linens, and tasteful décor added to the overall luxurious ambiance 💤🛏️. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the shore and the sight of swaying palm trees was nothing short of magical 🌴🌅.
One of the highlights of our stay was the swimming pool 🏊. It provided the perfect spot for our family to unwind and bond over fun-filled splash sessions. The house’s proximity to the beach allowed us to take leisurely strolls and enjoy breathtaking sunsets 🌞🌊.
During our stay, we ventured out to explore the nearby attractions. We visited the Kappad Beach 🏖️, which is steeped in history as it is where Vasco da Gama first set foot in India. We also explored the bustling markets of S.M. Street, a shopper’s paradise, where we found beautiful handicrafts and aromatic spices 🛍️🌶️.
For history buffs, a visit to the Thali Temple and Beypore Port is a must! The architectural beauty of the Thali Temple left us in awe, while the Beypore Port offered a glimpse into the region’s maritime history ⛩️⚓.
Calicut is not just about the picturesque locales; it’s also a food lover’s delight! We treated ourselves to the local culinary delicacies at Paragon Restaurant, which served mouth-watering Malabar cuisine 🍽️. We couldn’t get enough of their signature Kozhikode biryani, which had us craving for more 🍛😋.
Our vacation was a serene and peaceful retreat, as the beach house’s location provided the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, we found ourselves truly rejuvenated by the end of our stay 🌴🌊.

What made our stay even more special was that the Calicut Beach House is a pet-friendly 🐾 accommodation! Our furry friend, Max, accompanied us on this fantastic trip, making our family getaway complete. To make this trip even more memorable, we embarked on a scenic drive from Bangalore to Calicut 🚗. The journey was a delightful experience, with picturesque landscapes and ever-changing vistas that captured our imagination. That said, there were a few areas that could be improved to make the experience even better. Having a fully functional kitchen with a cook would be a great addition for those who prefer home-cooked meals 🍳👩🍳. Ensuring that geysers are working in all rooms would provide a more comfortable stay for guests 🚿. Lastly, offering more activities within the house, like board games or yoga sessions, would further enhance the overall vacation experience 🎲🧘.
