✈️ The Emirates Experience

We boarded an Emirates flight from Bangalore to Amsterdam, with transit through Dubai. The airline truly exceeded our expectations, especially when it came to caring for our little one. They provided instant photos and an activity kit to keep her entertained throughout the journey.

Though our Bangalore to Dubai flight was delayed, leaving us with only 30 minutes for the transit, Emirates didn’t disappoint. A crew member was waiting at the aerobridge to escort us to our connecting flight, ensuring a stress-free experience.

🏨 Checking into the Marriott Hotel Amsterdam

We reached Amsterdam on a Saturday evening and checked into the Marriott Hotel Amsterdam. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, comfortable rooms, and prime location.

🛍️ Saturday Evening: Shopping and Dining

After settling in, we explored the area around the Marriott Hotel, discovering charming local shops and indulging in a delicious dinner.

🔬 Sunday: Exploring the City and Nemo Science Museum

We spent Sunday morning wandering around the city before heading to the Nemo Science Museum. Our daughter absolutely loved this interactive museum, where she could learn and play simultaneously.

🌳 Monday: Vondelpark and a Canal Cruise

On Monday, we immersed ourselves in nature at Vondelpark, Amsterdam’s largest and most famous park. In the evening, we embarked on a mesmerizing canal cruise, admiring the city’s enchanting waterways.

🦒 Tuesday: Artis Amsterdam Royal Zoo

We spent Tuesday exploring the Artis Amsterdam Royal Zoo, where we marveled at the diverse wildlife and enjoyed the lush, green surroundings.

🎨 Wednesday: Rijksmuseum

Our Wednesday was dedicated to the Rijksmuseum, an iconic art museum that houses an impressive collection of Dutch masterpieces, including works by Rembrandt and Vermeer.

🔄 Thursday: Upside Down Museum and Madame Tussauds

We started Thursday at the quirky Upside Down Museum, followed by a visit to Madame Tussauds Amsterdam, where we posed with lifelike wax figures of our favorite celebrities.

🌆 Friday: Dam Square and the This is Holland 5D Experience

We explored Dam Square in the morning before heading to the This is Holland 5D Experience, an exhilarating and immersive attraction that showcases the beauty of the Netherlands.

🌊 Saturday: Zaanse Schans, Edam, Volendam & Marken

Our last full day in Amsterdam was spent touring the picturesque towns of Zaanse Schans, Edam, Volendam, and Marken. We marveled at the iconic windmills, tasted local cheese, and soaked up the charming Dutch culture.

✈️ Sunday: Farewell, Amsterdam!

With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to Amsterdam on Sunday. We boarded our Emirates flight back to Bangalore, cherishing the unforgettable memories we’d made during our stay.
